Stefanie Grubbs Director
Stefanie Grubbs is the founder and Managing Director of the Carolina Fusion Cloggers. Grubbs began her clogging career while in elementary school where she began clogging with Rhythm Master Cloggers of Lexington, NC under the Direction of Mitzi Owens Summerlin. In 2000 Grubbs attended Mars Hill College to dance with The Bailey Mountain Cloggers under the Direction of Mr. Jay Ledford. Dancing with Bailey Mountain allowed Grubbs to travel extensively through the USA dancing, as well as attending the Appalachian and Music Bluegrass Festival in Omaha, Northern Ireland. While at Mars Hill, Grubbs was very active in student activities such as: Mars Hill Lion Cheerleading, VP of College Republicans, and a member of The Delta Zeta National Sorority. Grubbs is a 2007 member of the ACHF All American Team, a certified judge for the American Clogging Hall of Fame, A Judge for the Clogging Champions of America. For the past five years Grubbs has been teaching people of all ages different styles of dance as well as continuing to direct and compete.

Brandy Howell Assistant Director
Brandy has been dancing since 1988. She joined her first competition team at the age of 5 and has clogged with teams to include Dance Extraordinaire of Camden, SC; Southern Connection of Irmo, SC; and the Bailey Mountain Cloggers of Mars Hill College. Brandy has training in clogging, tap, jazz, ballet, Irish, Scottish, and lyrical. She has received numerous awards in team, duo/duet, and solo competition and has performed at various venues to include Carnival Cruise Lines, Walt Disney World, and the Ulster-American Folk Festival in Omagh, Ireland. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in 2007, Brandy returned home to Columbia, South Carolina. In 2008 the Governor of North Carolina presented her with the NC Volunteerism Award for her time and work in establishing a clogging club for the 4-H of Madison County. She is currently employed as an administrator at the corporate office of the Brennan Group architecture firm.

Michael Scrip Technical Director Michael comes from North Carolina, where he has performed and competed in clogging for over 20 years. Michael attended Mars Hill College where he danced for the national championship team, the Bailey Mountain Cloggers. Clogging has opened the door for national and international travel and performance, including Ireland, Austria, Italy and Germany, during his college career. In the Fall of 2000, Michael spent the semester working as an entertainer at Walt Disney World. Michael earned his degree in Communications in 2002. He operates his own multimedia business specializing in music editing, video editing and building websites.
